Cancellation Policy

Once enrollment for a class is confirmed, the participant’s spot will be reserved for the full duration of the term. This includes appropriate staffing of the class and advance purchasing of materials based on registered enrollment. We kindly request that all class cancellations be made at least 24 hours in advance through the online registration system. For cooking and baking classes, a minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required due to advance preparation and supply purchasing. Cancellations may be completed under the “My Bookings” tab in your online account. Please note that participants are financially responsible for the full cost of the class, regardless of attendance. Frequent cancellations may result in revocation of direct payment privileges and/or a temporary suspension from enrollment. As class capacity is limited, repeated cancellations prevent other participants from accessing available spots. Refunds are not issued for classes paid via credit or debit card for the purpose of switching to the direct payment system. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed. If approved, refunds will be issued minus applicable credit card processing fees. Fiscal Intermediaries (FIs) within the Self-Direction program expect consistent attendance for enrolled classes and will reimburse The AMP accordingly. As a courtesy, The AMP will submit invoices to the FI on your behalf. However, if full payment is not received from the FI, the participant or their representative is responsible for any outstanding balance. It is the responsibility of the participant or their family to coordinate approval and payment with their FI. If you anticipate an absence of one week or more, please notify us so we can better understand the participant’s enrollment status. If a participant is experiencing symptoms of illness, including cold, flu, or COVID-19, we ask that they remain at home to support the health and safety of all participants, staff, and volunteers. The AMP maintains a “hands-off” approach while prioritizing the safety and well-being of all participants and staff. If a participant experiences challenges that impact safety or disrupt the class environment, parents or comm hab staff may be asked to assist with supervision, including facilitating a break or early departure. When appropriate, a collaborative plan will be developed support the part participant’s success in future sessions.
